What an absolutely wonderful and unique spot for brunch! It is so cute inside this home-turned-restaurant; they make great use of the space. Tea rooms are few and far between, so Mulberry has been such a welcome addition to the area. The food is absolutely delicious; some menu favorites are always on there to look forward to while other seasonal specials are always fun to try. I always look forward to the truffled egg & chicken salad sandwiches, as well as the vanilla scones in particular.
I've been here a number of times and realized I have never written a review for such a deserving establishment. Today, after another incredibly delicious brunch, I felt so inclined in part because of their "above and beyond" mentality, which was on full display for my friend's birthday. I accidentally made a reservation for 4 when I meant it to be 5, and they brilliantly turned the tables to make everything fit (again- great use of the space). So much care goes into this business and they do everything they can to make it the fantastic place it is.
If you haven't tried Mulberry House yet, you're honestly missing out! Such a nice, fun dining experience with food that is clearly made with love.
*Note- make a reservation in advance (days if you can)! Yes, it's that popular. Yes, it's worth it. It's not really meant to be a take-out place, but in the past they've still given me an order to go when there's no tables available (another above-and-beyond example!). -

This place is amazing! It's my absolute favorite brunch spot in the area, hands down. If you're looking for a quaint, adorable spot with wonderful food and service, look no further.
I just ate there again for my third time this past weekend and I have to write a review just based on my experience. I don't write reviews much, but the food is outstanding and the service was impeccable this time. Our waiter was friendly, professional and quick. The owner came around asking how things were, and I think that is always such a nice touch!! Food was fresh, I love the scones and chicken salad tea sandwiches - my fave!
I've recommended this tea room to so many friends, all of which thank me for doing so once they've dined here.
I can't wait to go back! -

I've been coming here for years and it's still my favorite spot for weekend brunch. Make a reservation! They get busy. It's so worth it. The food is delicious! Portions are small (as with all tea rooms) but you get a really good assortment and it's very filling. Must try the curry chicken salad and literally every scone. They're also BYOB!

I've now been here several times.... cute quaint spot to have tea time/ lunch.
My favorite place to sit is upstairs by the window . Great natural light and the yellow walls make me feel happy :)
I've tried the potato truffle soup which was good but a lil bland - needed some salt and pepper. I also finally tried the cream of mushroom soup and I loved that one.
Such a large list of teas ... I don't even like tea but I drink tea here :) I've had the lavender lemonade and the Sakura cherry blossom and both were great.
I like tea for one when I'm with someone but I've come solo and you are also to order a la cart if you want - like I just wanted soup and a sandwich and didn't want the scones and dessert but they are fun when you have tea time with someone else -

Wow I can't believe I didn't know this place for like, the nearly 2 decades that I've lived near downtown Westfield. This spot is so well priced and the food is great - my friend and I shared the tea stand for 2, which comes with two pots of tea, a salad or soup per person, three tea sandwiches, three scones, and three desserts. It was soooOoo much food for $40. It's probably even more worth it for more people, as the price per person goes down.
The salad/soups that we tried were good - the baby spinach salad was well dressed and the walnuts/goat cheese/pear all paired well. My friend loved the truffled potato soup. The three sandwiches among two people was a good (more than enough) amount of food, I love crust less sandwiches bc I have the appetite of a child lol. We had the red beets, pork, and hummus sandwiches- all of them were well balanced, and there's a ton of other options for sandwiches that we wanted to try. The scones were also great, buttery and short and flavorful. Desserts were tiny, but we had so much food included already that we didn't even care. This was such a great spot for a brunch/lunch and I'll definitely be back!
